I agree. though i will say, the solstice, likely because its a gm vehicle is very overlooked for its handling prowess. heyward wagner has driven the car on multiple occasions and called it one of the easiest most fun cars to drive fast that he has ever been in. After Junior Johnson drove it he seriously was considering if it was more fun than his now ssp z06, but he likes big v8 noises and smokey burnouts too much to be seen in a turbo four.
Andy Hohl was just hundredths away from ending the evo sp domination at nationals last year in a sky redline before cory ridgick pulled it out on his 3rd run. The kappas are nearly 100hp down to a sp prepped evo, i think that says a lot. Id consider if the brz/frs can handle as well as the kappa cars, this thing will be a success. Ive seen rumors they may be bumping the non turbo kappas and the mx-5 to bs from cs, in order for the brz/frs to direcly compete with the rx8. Cs kappas are currently running about level with bs s2000s.

Sorry to digress from your build thread, probably a better discussion for a new thread

I keep considering just buying a 2011-2012 hatch because its such an all around good car and looks more toned down than my old GD. I definitely don't miss the steering and some of the handling aspects of the car though.

That offset is only if you are putting 9" wide rims on right?

i like your rim size of 17x9 43 offset, would an offset of 30 be too much with the same setup? i just happen to find some rims i enjoy in that offset. thanks. im a little duhhh when it comes to the wheel/tire setup of this car at the moment. thanks!

Hello,

Do you have any proof of said failure? We take these claims very seriously. Was it a mechanical failure? Or a failure do to installer error. Was any contact made to us about said failure? Please feel free to post or email me.

We've sold several thousand sets of the new style endlinks and i have not heard of a failure yet.

Hey, Tom. I don't have the endlinks anymore. I've had them on the car for about 4 years. The "failure" happened a good 2-2.5 years ago. Basically the bolts connecting the endlinks dug in and it kept getting worse. Eventually one completely sheared right off. Not sure if its something I did or just the softness of the materials used. This happened on the fsb (Whiteline 27mm adjustable). The rsb endlinks are in perfect condition. I really didn't care about making a big stink about it to your company. I just put the stock endlinks back on.

Hope this helps!
