The ae86 didn't have a bore and stroke of 86mm. It is all something that they used to market the new ones :p

Fact III: When I went to go buy my Lady's Crosstrek, they said the BRZ has a Rear Diff. And the FR-S doesn't, they said I should've bought a Subaru, I told them no thanks and went to another Subaru dealership.

learn to read. I never said the twins didn't have a bore/stroke of 86mm. They used the measurements to MARKET the twins by its relation to the ae86 and the ft86 designation.

No no, the Toyota and Scion get a rear diff, but the Subaru, because it's a Subaru gets a center diff.
