BRZ Forum Has One, Why not us, What are you trading in?

Just thought that since the BRZ subforum had one we should have one too. I used the search function and didn't see any threads like this in the FR-S forum so forgive me if there was one but it was hiding (in which case mods feel free to lock/delete this). Anyways. What is everyone (if they are) trading in for their FR-S? I'll start, I'm trading in my 2011 Mustang v6 Premium. I'm a little worried I might miss the way it pulls (I've got a CAI, reworked exhaust, and custom tune) and all the red-light shootouts with other muscle cars, but I've been wanting a nice drivers car for a while as the stang isn't really good for anything but straight lines. The stang definitely has more power, since it's had work done, but I'm sure with a little work the FR-S will be able to get up and go enough to make it even more fun when I'm not on the curvy back roads around where I live. So how about y'all?

Nothing. I was gonna trade in my WRX but instead decided that I'd use that as my toy, and keep it for moments I feel like my life needs more boost.

Nothing. Was totally prepped to trade in a 04 Scion xB, but the dealer offered $3500 for it. Sold it for $7.2k private party sale.

I was worried I was the only one trading in a relatively new vehicle.

So why go from the Mustang to the FRS? Just curious since it'll be a noticeable power drop.

Just want something smaller and better handling. The mustang is really loose in the back end and the slightest press of the gas in the rain will result in fishtailing, and not in a good way. And I'm not exaggerating when I say the tiniest press of the gas, I'll lose the rear end just accelerating normally in a straight line if it has been raining. Another factor is that the mustang was already powerful stock, add what I did to it and you have a car that's pretty much quicker than anything on the road , except for 370z's and the v8 pony cars. That's wonderful but it gets old never having a challenge. The stang was already fast, I wanna try my hand and truly upgrading a car and getting all I can get out of it rather than having that out of the box. I also love the styling of the FR-S, I think it's absolutely gorgeous. Looking at it then back to my mustang makes my car seem so boring and drab. Plus my stang is an auto, which takes all the fun out of it anyways. So I wanna get the FR-S in a manual and do things proper.

This car will be my new daily driver. I'm trading in my '06 Accord SE. I also have a V6 Mustang an know what you mean about the handling. It handles better than any previous Mustang, but it is a BIG car, and it feels like it. Mine is an '07 4.0/Manual (with an Eaton MP-90 supercharger on top). It's fun showing the tail lights to V8 "muscle" cars.

I'm thinking I'll still be able to do this though as many people who go out and buy big muscle cars or even nice tuners like the 3.8L GC don't know how to drive nor shift properly and therefore are easy targets. I've beaten plenty of cars in my stang that I should have never been able to just because people don't know how to use the machine they're in.
