I've had my Firestorm FR-S 2 days now and i got pulled over this morning for not using my turn signal. Absolutely zero traffic on a 4 lane road but a cop got me for not putting my blinker. He gave me a warning since i wasn't speeding but he admitted his actual reason was to look at the car. Cool cop i guess but the FireStorm Red might be a cop magnet ^_^
nope.

can't get ticket. car to slow.

I suppose if there wasn't any traffic, I was going downhill and had a tail wind I could.

Ahhh but you see you can tickets for things other then just speeding!
Drift around a corner in front of a cop at below the speed limit and see what happens!

None on the highway for me yet. Luckily, no matter what time of day, traffic flows at a consistent 85-90 where I live. Even the cops do it, and no one really slows down much for it.

hello old thread. i don't get why you don't use your blinkers. doesn't matter if you think no one is around (which obviously the police were) , they don't take that much effort to use in the first place.

I think he was talking about the OP (over two years ago) who got pulled over for not using turn signals on an empty highway.

I was raised calling turn signals blinkers too.

That would depend on the amount of snow on the ground

I've been pulled over twice. First time was just after I bought the vehicle. Officer pulled me over, asked me to step out of the vehicle, then asked if he could get INTO the vehicle because he wanted to buy one for his daughter. Said he'd only buy her a manual trans and she'd only drive it if it was "cute". -- No ticket.

The 2nd time I was pulled over, it was raining really heavy here and was within the first 30 minutes of rain fall. Here in this part of Arizona, we don't see much rain, so the roads were slick and I was new to RWD and coming from an AWD subie. I stepped the tail out and the cop pulled me over. -- No ticket but a STERN warning because he just worked a collision where this same thing happend and someone hit them.

Surprisingly I haven't been pulled over in this car yet. Usually when I get a quick car I get zapped some time in the first month. Heck in my C30 it didn't even take 24 hours and I got pulled over doing 20+ over and no signal on an empty 3 lane highway. The really crappy part is it was a state park cop using the highway to connect from one end of a park to the other instead of using the internal road so it wasn't even a cop that "belonged" where he ended up.

if the cops stopped people here for not using their turn signals they literally wouldn't have time for anything else and our courts would be on a 10 year backlog within a week.
that being said I'm all for it.
