Well there was no First 86 program in Canada, so there's not much special about the deliveries up here.

Actually, I stand corrected. For sure it's for those First 86 (17 people, I think?) in the LA Region. I can't speak for the rest of the US though, but I think it is very likely to be nationwide.

And don't take the "cash" amount for a huge dollar figure, hahaha. It's definitely enough to cover some food/drink for guests at these "launch events"

Well, Vegas isn't that far from LA, but I do think you're right Dadhawk.

And there was that "media release form" that we had to sign regarding use of photos and video for commercials and future promotional materials - which no other First 86er seemed to get, back when I posted a thread regarding it. I should ask Pekingduck if he got that. So perhaps there are different "types" of release party? Like, some are fully planned by Scion Corporate, but others where some cash and suggestions were thrown at the dealer.

That's what I'm thinking. Corp was looking for some publicity footage but didn't need it from 86 separate events.
