So it was leaking externally or internally? I can smell the supercharger oil in the Laminova charge cooler but there's nothing on the outside.

Mine was leaking externally.

Top end is referring to the engine rpm here. An EL will have the advantage at higher rpm regardless of vehicle speed.

Thanks. I understand that an EL would help at higher revs...but do you think running a UEL will help improve low-mid torque more than the EL?

JDL uel is a top end monster and has even been tested by delicious. Not all uel's are created equal.

Technically, no UEL's are created equally


And yes, JDL's UEL does do well on the top end, it happens to be one of our favorites. My point, was that the UEL offerings, as we've seen, perform better as a whole in the low to mid range, whereas the EL do better up top. This is not to say they don't help everywhere. We've found that JDL's EL helps on the top end noticeably more than their UEL, and helps less in the low to mid range, which supports my previous statement.


In short, a well designed header will perform well in all areas of the rpm band, but will still have a range that it performs optimally in due to design.

Why not just use the old ticket system?

Anyone with 72.5mm pulley notice any contact or rub marks under the hood? I've seen 2 cars with standard 75mm pulley which had a small patch of paint eaten away caused by engine movement and pulley touching the hood.

I'm hoping that a 2.5mm reduction in pulley size is enough to gain just enough clearance. I'll also be installing STI engine mounts for safe measure.

The ticket based system is being phased out and we don't really check it anymore. Update requests are now done through Bill, and Q&A is typically done by me.

Anyone that has any questions about a tune they'd be interested in purchasing, or a tune they have already purchased, is free to pm me on here.

Update on the Flex Fuel Kit: we have a few more testers out and all are performing exactly as they should, so at this time we're waiting on fittings. (I know, before we were waiting on sensors, we got those and now the fittings all got cleared out).
