You had me nodding until this. Jesus don't bring a cobalt into a "sports car" conversation. Powerful? Yes. But drive one and tell me that it's a sports car. It simply cannot be. It feels like what I imagine driving a marshmallow to be like. Who knows really what any of the tires are doing at any given moment.

Depending on who you ask, PPP wise they already overtook the US quite a while ago. Considering there are 4x as many people this is not really much of a landmark.

turbo cobalts put a faster nurburg laptime (which is a metric i despise) than some legitimately fast cars like the nsx and such. im not saying its a sports car, but its doing something right. to be faster than higher powered rwd cars in a much higher class but to still be written off entirely is the kind of blatant ignorance that should be questioned. thats all im saying.

i think the world would be a better place if we just left the numbers out of gauging sports cars all together.

Got a link to the list?

The list I can find still has USA as number one and us at number 69 or 70. If we overtake you you'll have something to worry about!

Says the guy with an mr2. It's besides the point. Looks are subjective but the performance isn't

Lol, yeah my mr2 looks retarded, R32 GTR is a pig and the 86 looks as if it was designed by a redneck.

America will be a third world country within a few years. Technically it already is based on a few economic factors. We made the same mistake as many super powers before us, ignore our economy and pour all our money into military & wars. You can thank Reagan and Bush for most our current problems, and by association, China's uprising.

For those of you saying that China will crumble.... LOL... Just lol. If they were to fail... Wouldn't it have been during the recession? We are over here bailing out banks and allowing the rich to buy our elections, while China is pouring money into roads, highways, bridges and other infrastructure. Game Over.

Well can't say I didn't try to get along with you!
I was not saying the Big Three don't make powerful or good cars. I was addressing your point that the people on this forum are not buying them as they do not make what we want. Never once did I say the FRS is the ultimate powerhouse and there has certainly been enough people saying they wanted changes. Actually surprised your response didn't include getting a Miada in some manner. Not really even sure why you are here except to bash everything about the Twins and their owners.

Oh, and dude, I will pitch in and help get you a keyboard with a shift key (probably made in China) as posts with no capitals on the sentences are hard for my old brain to grasp.

Of course, if there is only one person, then there is also only one shortest person in the room too.
