Once you have the license and cable you can put any tune you want in there. And you can write it over and over without worry.
Correct!

The only part in question is if Cosworth will sell their tune to people who bring their own EcuTek license.

As with Jackson Racing, I'd expect the Cosworth factory tunes to be rock solid. Similarly, the Cosworth tunes are also MAF based.

They've designed a system that's meant to be bought in stages. I can't imagine they'd try to force the customer to buy the Ecutek license at each stage. Even cosworth isn't that stupid....

I looked almost every post in this thread and have not seen the first two pictures. I think they illustrate a couple of the unique features of the cosworth SC and perhaps part of the price difference compared to to other kits

a view not usually seen in cosworth's pictures..the back side of the supplied inlet.

"Cosworth has designed a unique inlet manifold with integrated custom intercooler cores to mount the Cosworth PD supercharger above the FA20 engine for a more reliable and durable upgrade solution."

SC kit supplied with a different inlet manifold.. these intercoolers that go inside the inlet.

"Water-cooled, and exclusive to Cosworth the inlet and intercooler system provides outstanding throttle response and is rated to provide sufficient air charge cooling for
up to 380hp output."

Most including Cosworth (but not all )provide this type of cooler.

Since when has there been a 1.0 kit? It's always been 1.1, 1.2 or 1.3. Did I miss something?

I guess I did! Went to the Cosworth site and found it...

Stage 2 (Stage 2 only) is estimated to be $6500.

Pricing is still TBD.

Interesting, the oil filler cap is showing on a U.S. website, but not in stock yet... I just assumed the other parts would follow. Hopefully if you by a "power package" they would sell you some supporting parts?! Like brakes?
