I believe it will; it wouldn't make sense for them to make their tune mandatory for every kit purchase.

Details are still being finalized, and I will update as I get more information.

It helps when Cosworth (north america) is just a 30 minute drive away from CSG

We are taking pre-order deposits if you're interested in getting one of the first kits.

While CARB certification is not a promise or guarantee, they have confirmed that they are pursuing, and given Cosworth's reputation, I'd be surprised if they didn't follow through.

Super excited for this kit! I just installed my EL coated nameless headers and will be ready for the supercharger in the spring. @CSG Mike how much is the deposit?

I've gotten a TON of PMs with questions, so here's a breakdown of the stages:

Stage 1: air filter, thermostat, and Ecutek
Stage 1.1: Catback exhaust
Stage 1.2: resonated midpipe
Stage 1.3: ceramic coated Header
Stage 2: supercharger
Stage 3: engine internals.

If you have a stock car, you will need at least the Stage 1 and Stage 2 components to utilize the supercharger kit. The 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 components will have GREAT returns with the supercharger, but are not absolutely necessary.

I believe you can use *just* the Stage 2 supercharger kit, if you have your own EcuTek. However, it is possible Cosworth may decide to not make their tunes to those that bring their own EcuTek license (but I find this unlikely). If you bring your own EcuTek, an want to use Cosworth's calibrations, expect to have an additional charge for their calibration.

For example, if you already own EcuTek, and purchase Jackson Racing's "TIY" kit, you can still purchase their CARB tune for $500.

Keep your pants on. The rumor is that there's another TVS based kit coming soon as well.

No one that I can find sells just the stage 1 ...I don't need the axle back..I have a nameless axle back..but everyone starts at 1.1 or as some call it 1a.... which includes the thermostat,Ecutek, air filter and axleback. shrug

Throw in a tune from one of a host of tuners on here and you're there.

That would work except my plans call for purchasing the super charger kit..with out duplicating the whole cat back exhaust.

....there is also some uncertainty as to whether or not the stage 2 tune will work on a already owned ecutek...

That is why I was looking for the stage 1..not the 1.1 also I could care less about the filter..the ecutek, tune and thermostat of ther stage 1 I could use when the super charger becomes available.

Isn't stage 2 just the super charger kit without any of the previous stages? The header is exactly the same as the nameless header as is the midpipe.

Once you have the license and cable you can put any tune you want in there. And you can write it over and over without worry.

We will sell the stages independently. Most of the pieces for Stage 1 will be available by the end of this month.
