If I had to wager a guess as to why so early, either my dealer is trolling me or it could be due to rail logistics. My buddy was saying some rail routes are not in as high demand so things can move a bit quicker, not sure.

Also forgot to mention that one more person who are#3 at the same dealership is expecting his car to arrive on one of those boats too. So I assume a lot of New England, NY and NJ cars will be on those boats! I have Red 6MT Limited on order.
I will give them a call today to find out whether they have VIN# info and let you guys know.

Awesome, that might help us get an idea of what sort of percentage of pre-orders we can expect in the near future.

Is it an especially high volume dealership?

I updated the first post of this thread with all the member's who have claimed to have a VIN. It's quite obvious that the first shipment of BRZ's was destined for the points furthest from port.. The midwest/great lakes - Lots of OH, MI, WI, MN, IN, IL, NE. Plus a few Pacific NW (WA, OR) as well.

I'm sure the next round will be destined for the east coast, South, and then west coast.

^^^ Thanks

That's really not many - and all in Northern regions.

Does anyone know whether there is a second ship due for San Francisco or does one ship drop off in Seatle then come down to California?

How do you do this:

There's some sort of minimum post count associated with that feature being available. I didn't have it until sometime yesterday, I believe.
