Interested but in a low offset. Like +10 or below.

Damn so sad that so many people are willing to buy these crappy knock offs! And they usually don't stop at that, engine parts are the next step.

Received the following email from tommy with wheeldude:

Hi,

The RKR are offered in 17x8.5 and 17x9.5 a set in either size will be $949+shipping. RBR are offered in 17x8.5 a set would be $899+shipping. As far as offset goes it can be in any offset you want as long as all 3 sets are identical in size color and offset.

Thanks

-Tommy

Really? That'd be awesome. I'd be interested in some ebay chinese made high compression pistons and NA camshafts. I'd love to spend $3k to have my engine rebuilt with some cheap knockoff engine parts. I'm sure it'll last even longer and work better than super low-quality oem parts.. ebay/chinese made parts are usually the best in the world. he he.

But, being serious now ...I think 8.5" in maybe a +15 to +25 would work nicely. 9.5" is too wide for many people, if 9" isn't available. 8.5" would be perfect with 245s.

Do we have any idea what they would weigh? I love the "classic eight spoke" style. Regardless of who is knocking off who.

Given a reasonable weight I would go for 17x8.5 with about a 45 mm offset. Folks who want a wider stance can run spacers. Mat black would be my first choice, but silver or gunmetal would be good too.

I just emailed inquiring about weight. Looks like everyone's ideal offset is off to get this rolling... and we haven't even gotten to what color

China is busy at the moment, their not done yet copying HKS Parts for the 86. But you can get some CP pistons for cheap, next best thing to Chinese crap!http://m.ebay.com/itm/291187678444?nav=SEARCH

But seriously, if you don't want to buy real stick to OEM your better off!

17x8.5 sounds perfect for a 245 tire, but it seems everyone is looking for crazy low offsets. The Enkei Compe is available in 17x8 +25, if that's what you want. If a +35 or +40 was available to keep the wheel from poking without ridiculous camber required and still give clearance on a stock strut, I'd be interested. Otherwise, no thanks.

Wheeldude didn't know exactly how much they weigh but he estimates about 19-21 lbs.

I'd be interested in doing 17x8.5 with +35 or +40 offset as well.

+35 or +45 is too high for a narrow 8.5". Need +15-25 for a decently deep Watanabe deep dish look..otherwise it'll look flat and stale.
