Of course you could really test this if you found some way to blast through all six gears while the rear wheels were proper off the ground

Anyone know of a good tuner in Wisconsin that uses OFT? But first. I think I'm gonna change the spring in the bov just to rule that out before spending money at a shop

Another thing, was tapping into the brake booster for vacuum a good idea? Where are you guys connecting your bov to?
Cause honestly it really does sound like the sound is coming from the booster

So plug the line coming from the brake booster and leave the bov without a vacuum line? Using only the spring in the bov to test if there's any noise still?

Yep. The BOV should stay closed and never open under this situation, so don't go crazy boosting it, but see if you get the same sounds.

Okay, so i disassembled the bov and removed the yellow spring, then installed the plain spring and took the car out for a drive, still had the same noise.
Then i removed cheap hose i used and bought a 1/4" fuel line hose that is rated for 250psi and installed it, still had the same noise. Then i final got under the car to check the plastic. It all looked flushed, but there were two bolts missing so i tighten the plastic #4 down in a previous post earlier and noise is gone. Moral of the story, I'm stupid.

Hahah too bad I didn't see this thread until today, I would have told you it was exactly that from the beginning. You would be surprised how far the plastic shrouding will extend when it gets air under it. I lost one of the bolts long ago and the first time it started scraping like that it scared the crap out of me, it's so damn loud in the car. If any mechanical components like the turbo, engine, etc. was making that noise it would have grenaded in short order.
