Soooo... Just out of curiosity, has anyone had the TSB S-SB-0001-14 performed to their car?
Does it really help?

I am at 38k miles, just above the Basic warranty limit. I am tempted to argue to have them do it. Sigh.

Never had the TSB done as mine was built with the new parts and have had zero issues. If it hasn't frozen up after the last 2 days we had here then I am optimistic it won't.

Massive difference before and after the TSB. Before the TSB I usually ended up with the windows opened an inch all day because they couldn't go up or down. I don't think they ever froze after the TSB was done.

I'd say it's worth trying to argue it.

Had this happen to me today was not fun driving through a blizzard with the window down...found how to reset but had to reach a heated garage before i could attempt to fix. Since im going in to the dealer with a list of issues might as well add. Does it have to happen in front of the tech to be fixed?

That just depends on who you end up talking to. They absolutely took my word for it and didn't even glance at the car.

So my '14 BRZ Limited isn't within the VIN range, but my windows seem to freeze up very easily. The window controls don't stop working, and I can break the window free by rocking the window control up/down about 10 times, but are you guys saying your windows don't freeze AT ALL after this TSB fix?
