If you really get serious about trying to be nationally competitive in SM you're gonna need bigger fenders so you can fit bigger than 275s. You're gonna have to go to 18s and run 285s at least. I don't know what you goals are. Sounds like a fun build though! Good luck!

Guys need some feedback about tire sizes. Im about to recieve my work kiwamis this 24th november and still cant decide which tire sizes might fit best. My wheels are 18x9.5 +38 four corners, will 255/35 square fit perfectly? Or should i fit 265/35 for the rear and 255/35 for the fronts? I installed coilovers and i will be going as low as say 1 finger gap between the tire and fender. No LCAs so i cant adjust the rear camber, currently -2.25.

I'd go for 255 square. 255/265 will probably induce a slight amount of understeer. Just because a 265 fits doesn't mean it's the optimal setup. Plus you'll be able to rotate your tires if you go 255 square

I would go 255 or 265 all around for reasons already stated. If you want less worries, go 255. But it also depends on which tire you're running. A 255 PSS will be similar to a lot of other 265's.

Finally get to play in this thread.

17x9 +35 Avid-20's with 255/40/17 Bridgestone Potenzas. Can't remember exact model but they are 140 tread ware.

Lowered on H&R supersports with crash bolts up front.

These look great, was wondering where you picked them up?

For those of you with serious track/race set ups, I need help. I am currently sitting at 255/40/17s on a 17x9 +35, and I want to get more tire or a stickier tire under my car for auto x and lapping next year, as I am now going boosted and have very little in terms of limitations for my set up for auto x.

Lets here some somewhat budget friendly options.

Thanks! Im really happy with them. I got them off a forum member local. I believe next level motoring and Ptuning carry Avid wheels however.
