Is it only happening AS you shift into neutral at a stop? A clicking or crunching sound coming from the gearbox and/or letting the clutch in and out?

Edit: now I'm confused, you mention it happening both when you just go to neutral and when you haven't gone to neutral. Is it both? My question's probably not valid now.

hmm. when i shift it to neutral and let it roll to stop for red light only.
