Nope, it's driven off the right side intake cam.

Does it matter at which point along the brake booster line to fit a T-fitting (for the vacuum distribution block)?

Point A: would be closer to the intake manifold.
Point B: would be close to the brake booster.

What's the ID size of that line anyway?

And do I need to add a check valve anywhere on that line?

I doesn't really matter where. I wish the car wasn't at the body shop, I would have taken a picture of my setup.

Also, no check valve is needed...

There is already a check valve in the brake booster line. You should be able to notice a lump somewhere in it.

It has to be closer to the intake manifold or your vacuum distribution block will never see boost. That line already has a check valve in it that prevents the brake booster from seeing anything other than vacuum.

I've been told that the "turbo-airbox silicone pipe" comes very close to the crank pulley. Has anyone had rubbing or contact in that area on their kit?

In step 42-43 of the installation manual calls for the removal of the vertical metal bar in the back-middle of the radiators (in order to flatten the bottom part).

But it looks like the top part is actually spot welded to the radiator support bar. How did you guys take it off?

The radiator support bar and the vertical metal bar come off easily with a few bolts on top and you are correct they are one piece and that is what you take out of car to flatten the bottom.

The silicon and pipe run really really close to the pulley but there is no rubbing. I also change the bolts on the pulley with some flat head ones, just in case.

I didnt flatten the bottom of the metal bar because I completely forgot about it when reinstalling but no problems so far.

Make sure you have all the required components for the kit, before installing

Really? when I took off those bolts on the top the latch mechanism came off but that radiator support bar looked like it was tac welded? What did I miss?

What he meant was the since they vertical bar is welded to the radiator support bar, you'd have to undo the support bar as well, and then they come off together as one piece....like to giant "T" looking piece.
