I get about 22 mpg around town and about 26 mpg on the highway. I don't think this car is meant to be driven gently or for hypermiling. If I wanted to, I can get much better mileage just by being light footed but every time that I press the accelerator hard, I can see the instantaneous mpg drop down to around 8 mpg or so. Again everyone drives differently, so I would say it all depends on how YOU drive this car.

I'm about 40% through my very first tank, since taking delivery of my A/T BRZ last week. I perma drive in sports mode and saw it reach 13.7L, but it has been slowly coming down and this morning read 13.5L. No mods.
This is a mix of 50 to 80km/h zones and an average of 22km round trip to work and back home each day. I'm not doing myself any favours with the way I choose to beat on my car and the resulting poor fuel economy, but then if I cared about that sort of thing I'd be catching a bus to work

6500 miles, my display says 27.0 MPG but I do drive the car pretty hard. I've gotten around 36-38 MPG on highway roadtrips going about 70-75 mph. All on stock tires.

I do around 11 litre per 100km. Don't know how many mpg that translates to.

98RON (worse than US 91) - 9 L/100km = 31 MPG
P100 (US 91 equivalent) - 10 L/100km = 28 MPG E85 - 13 L/100km = 22 MPG That's all with lots of hard driving and resetting fuel trims, etc. Highway can get 6 L/100km (47 MPG) on 98 and probably 8 L/100km (36 MPG) on E85, being very light with the throttle. |

How is 98 RON worse than US 91? I thought 98 RON was equivalent to US 93 octane.

7.8 miles per gallon on E85 last weekend at the track.

Good to know. I'm going to be changing to all-seasons once the summer tires have had their run, and expect my mileage to drop as well.
