The best mex food in the area can be found in the old town area of hillsboro. Its called Amelia's.

Hillsboro and Cornelius have a very high hispanic population and subsequently features many amazing and yet very cheap mexican restaurants. Our poplulation out here is mostly from Michoacan and therefore you'll get mainly those type of dishes.

Its worth the trip west.

I like Pepino's too. Its pretty much a mexican food truck indoors.

My steak taco's are bomb as well:
Marinated flank steak
onion/cilantro chopped up
Guac
small tortilla, fried in the steak fat.

We need to do a pot luck at Darren's, who can beat my meat?

I went to La Cocina tonight for dinner, and it was really good! I tried the chicken and veggie enchilada with the mole sauce, and it was delicious. The white peach, and blood orange margarita were also yummy!
