It'll be a Civic SI with the 8-speed DCT from the TLX and P-AWS. In otherwords, the 2016 ILX.

I honestly don't know why everyone thinks that the new ILX have AWD because then it would cut into TLX sales. I'm still waiting for the LA Autoshow for the full announcement before I pull the trigger on a 15 TLX, 15 WRX, or 16 ILX as my second car. I just can't see myself in a CT200h as the family hauler; not enough power.

Ask 100 people what a sports car is and you'll get 100 different answers.

Don't get me wrong, I like the Integra R. The braking feel is pretty awesome and I'm a HUGE fan of Honda motors! I love Honda Vtec's, it's just too bad they literally put all of them in the wrong spot

The Del Sol should've been a mid-engine like the original concept!

As for the integra, here is my cousin's old dc2r with my mr2 that he sold for an awd bimmer 3 series.

Sporty car, not a sports car. Trust me on this...

I would not even bother to argue the semantics but I can say that I have seen a few Integras slap the shit out of some "sports" cars both on and off the track.

Me too.

But platform vs platform, please don't tell me fwd is a sports car. There is a reason why there is no such thing as a fwd Ferrari, Lamborghini, or high end sports car.

Won't plow the snow like a tank, definitely not a sports car.

Agreed by definition a true sports car is RWD.

However it has been proven some very good performance cars have been done FWD.

Sure people can define words as what ever they want but my saying a seat strapped to an aardvark is a "sports car" does not make it so.

If you take Webster's as an authority on definitions then not only does the location of the drive not matter the Twins barely qualify as "sports cars"
