I feel the same way as Davey does. I was looking for some info on the cosworth mid pipe and got this. So I said screw it and I bought it anyway. I'll post my own review next week when it comes in.

Hold up, saw some mentions of "300 HP not possible on fa20".
Are you serious? Get to googling my friends.

Does anyone know of an exhaust that has a rather similar tone? This has the exact sound note I'm looking for but not looking to fork up 3-5g's at this time. I've heard almost all the nameless, greddy, injen, invidia, hks, perrin, accelerated, sti, borla, and a few more but none of them sound quite like this setup. Closest one I've found is the milltek sport. That cosworth just has a bit more... exotic pitch to it? Best way to describe it. I know videos are not the best for sound but for my area it's about all I can do.

All these exhausts sound differently depending on the other parts of the system.

One axle-back exhaust will sound different with a different overpipe, frontpipe, and/or turbo.

It comes down to the combination of all these parts that comes up with a certain sound that can be duplicated.

Yeah I figured I'd have to do some mixing around to find the right tone. Wasn't sure if any shops or anyone had a lot of experience on installs were they've heard something similar

Cosworth may exists for a long time, but their products are build according to current consumer trends. My Cossie manifold cracked badly after 7 months, N/A + E85 custom tune.

Cosworth exhaust note
I too loved the sounds when I first saw it... but the cost is just madness!
Ended up with a totally different set of headers and a custom made header-back in Stainless Steel.

It sounds a little similar, but with a bit more of a rumble. At the end of the day I compromised - different sound and a bit more power, for less than 25% of what the Cosworth system would've cost me!

In fact (speaking of cost) I got a few bushings, bonnet dampers, a full exhaust, flexfuel kit and a Delicious tune, + all the labour for less than just the cost of just this exhaust!

Tinfoil header! I'm probably the only guy rocking EL Borla, and they're in better shape than that!
