I know, right?

Ok, how about engine RPM? At what RPM were you running?

On second thought, 70's pretty fast for me. I only admire Fredric Aasbo. I can't drive like him.

I bounce off of the rev limiter way too often. I want it to be a GSXR engine.

Yeah, I think it's because you're used to a turbo. Maybe a blower for me someday.

Good luck with your brakes, bro. Welcome!

Tip from my old 83 Corolla: parking brake adjustment: While rolling SLOWLY in reverse, stop car only using hand brake. Pull quick and hard. Repeat about 10 times, rolling and stopping. Profit.
Just tried it on my FR-S in the parking lot and the boot is no longer stretched tight.
(Seems the automatic star adjusters work better in reverse).

Glad to hear it worked for you! I've been driving Toyotas since the 80's and this trick has worked on all of them. Since the FR-S is partially a subie, didn't know if it would work the same way. I think I read it in a Chilton's manual once way back in the day.
