I agree, it depends on the dealer and the fees. In my case i was going to loose my ass.

It was $2500 due at signing, $750 origination fee and $750 closing fee. And a monthly payment of $279. On top of that, $75 per each ding. (you have to assume at least a couple)

So my cost for lease would have been approximately $394/mo.
If i purchased one my payment thought a local bank would have been $329.

OP, can you tell us what your payment would be to buy at the same money down? My guess is it's pretty similar to the lease amount, if thats the case, why would you even consider leasing?
