roybotnik, if you're going to heavily modify your BRZ, just buy a 2013 limited. You can get all the nice coachwork from JPM but the money you save in depreciation can go into turbonating or supercharging the car.

Plus, if you go manual you're going to need clutches once you hit the horsepower ceiling.

Are they giving them away with every Lexus purchase like they are almost doing here?

Yep, but only silver ones

I've been following NE pricing here since the beginning of the year, and darnold has the lowest price for a 14 LMT 6MT @ 24.9. Lots of people w/ prices in the 25's.

Ordering just opened up for 2015's a couple weeks ago here in New England, so it'll be interesting to see how long it takes to get great deals on a 2015.

Trying to get back to the stuff that got me into cars in the first place when I was in high school... Japanese cars are just better in an intangible way. Less is more! I had a 2011 Mustang GT and a 2008 911 turbo and now I'm looking to replace them with a new BRZ and an early NSX respectively. I'm getting excited just thinking about it.
I can relate! My daily is a BMW and also have a 911, I love them both but German cars are "needy". I'm looking at purchasing a BRZ and getting back to sensible, economical (relatively speaking) Japanese practicality. The BMW will be replaced by the BRZ. So glad that someone has produced a small, fun, lightweight, rear-drive coupe. Not everybody wants luxo-barges.

Here it is like the model Ts right now.
You can have any colour you want as long as it is black.

If you're planning on getting coilovers the improved dampers on the '15 don't matter. Basically I was in the same scenario as OP but with the '14 vs '13 and opted for the '13 since the deal was better and I knew I was going to modify the car anyways.

I ended up getting it for just over $27k out the door with 0% financing for 72 months (what!). I am pleased with the deal! 2014 limited 6MT, white. Aaaaand I also just realized that brz/fr-s have different general forums...haha, sorry about that.

I absolutely love this car. Because racecar. It just freaking begs to be driven. I already bought a pile of little stuff from ft86speedfactory and I am super excited about it! I seriously think I have already had more fun in 3-4 days than I did in a year with my 997 turbo... I'm not afraid of breaking anything and the car is super accessible. For some reason "effervescent" comes to mind. I need to take some pics...

Congrats. That's a heck of a deal with 0% and only a few hundred dollars more than my 2015 Premium.

Glad you're enjoying it more than the Turbo already...
