Bulletproof Automotive 2014 SEMA Coverage

Hey Guys!

SEMA is right around the corner and this is the time of year we all look forward to!
Vendors from all around the world come to the SEMA show to unveil some of the most amazing car builds in addition to showcasing the newest and best aftermarket automotive products in the world. Since SEMA isn’t open to the public, we want to bring you coverage so that you don’t miss out on seeing all of the crazy builds and the newest products
.

Last year we had our Bulletproof Automotive Concept One FRS debut at SEMA and it was definitely a head turner to say the least!

This year, we have even more in store and we can’t wait to share it all with you and as well as providing coverage from SEMA 2014!

We hope you enjoy what we’ll be sharing with you all and don’t be afraid to ask questions or even share this thread!
-Cheers
!

****What better way than to start off with a few of our beloved 86 car builds?
Last night was the Scion Tuner Challenge debut of three amazing FR-S builds by Super Street, Speed Hunters, and GT Channel.
Celebrating their 10th year anniversary of the coveted Tuner Challenge, Scion partnered with these great publications to make Scion Tuner Challenge history.

Some of our team attended the Pre-SEMA unveiling event in Los Angeles, Ca , including myself, and we got to see the three FR-S builds first hand. All three builds are incredible to say the least and each is unique on its own.

Super Street FR-S:
The Super Street team built the very first ITB (individual throttle body) FR-S in the United States and the clean wire tuck and yellow stitching in the interior was definitely just some of many details, that made this car even more seamless. Bulletproof did help sponsor this build and we definitely love the finished product!

SpeedHunters FR-S:
Speedhunters went with a TRD, retro race car themed design. It’s has a very classic look with a modern twist. The louver hood was one of my favorite details on the car just because it’s so unique. The car is supercharged with the first Cosworth Stage 2.0 supercharger kit. It’s definitely a great build that needs to be seen in person!

GT Channel FR-S:
GT Channel teamed up with Mine’s and MotoIQ. The car’s theme was to try and stay true to the 86’s Japanese roots with some beautiful Volk Racing ZE40’s in matte blue gunmetal, Recaro seats, TRD side skirts, side fenders and TRD HID headlights and even an Esprit front lip spoiler. The car is a beauty, very clean and well executed!

The judges of the Scion Tuner Challenge competition definitely have a difficult decision on choosing a winner. Each team delivered a stunning car and all three are so unique. Let’s send each team some good luck wishes!

Who do you think deserves the crown as 2014 Scion Tuner Challenge winner?

More to come soon, so hold on tight and let the 2014 SEMA coverage/shenanigans begin!

Best,
Bulletproof Automotive Team

Happy Halloween everyone!

Let’s change things up a bit today!

If you haven’t already seen the previews of our amazing Varis Kamikaze-R GT-R, well I’ve got a treat for you!

--This year at SEMA, we are debuting the very first Varis Kamikaze-R wide-body kit here in the United States.
Thus, we appropriately dubbed this car the Varis North America Kamikaze-R GT-R.
It’s definitely a long name but a car this insane deserves a name to match.

Right from our own shops here in Hawthorne, California, our customer brought us his pristine R35 GT-R and we knew that big plans were in store for this beautiful car. With over 1500 HP and the amazing Varis wide body aero kit, this track monster will surely be a big attention grabber at the event. There’s still more to come with this crazy build so stay tuned!

I present to you just a sneak peak of our Varis North America Kamikaze-R GT-R...

This is just one of our major builds so just a fair warning when I say, we have MORE coming… **Insert evil laugh**

Best,
Bulletproof Automotive Team

All very cool, but I think SpeedHunters takes the cake. I'd love to see more pictures of it, and the yellow car's engine bay.

*** MONDAY BUMP DAY!!***

I hope you all had a great weekend! While you were out for Halloween or in bed sleeping, our team here at Bulletproof Automotive headquarters definitely wasn’t sleeping or celebrating Halloween at all.

Instead, we pulled a few all-nighters to finish our builds for the SEMA show and I must say that though there were many challenges and sleepless nights, it was well worth the sacrifices and long hours! You guys probably thought we couldn’t top ourselves with our Concept One FR-S from last year’s SEMA show but this year, we pushed the boundaries even further and we couldn’t be more proud of our team and builds!

We had a total of FOUR amazing cars in our shop this weekend and while we were putting together the final touches we had back-to-back photo shoots all night/morning long.

Here are the first glimpses of our 2014 SEMA builds…

As previously posted in this thread, this is the final outcome of our Varis North America Kamikaze-R GTR:

Next is our Tesla Model S- Unplugged Performance Front Fascia. From concept to prototype, you’ll be able to see this gorgeous car debut at SEMA this year:

On to car number three, I introduce to you our Dry Carbon Bulletproof Automotive GT-R SPL (Street Premium Lightweight) demo car:

Lastly, this is our 1100 HP Bulletproof custom built GT1 inspired Wide-Body GT-R:

More photos to come soon, so stay tuned!

Let us know which one of our Bulletproof Automotive SEMA builds is your favorite!

Best,
Bulletproof Automotive Team

Hey Guys,

Tomorrow is the first day of SEMA 2014 and we will be at the Las Vegas Convention center all week long taking photos of all the great builds and newest products to keep you in the loop with the latest and greatest.

Please feel free to let us know what specific booths or cars you would like to see photos of and we’ll try our best to get those photos posted for you!

But continuing on with more cars to look forward to at this year’s SEMA show…

Rocket Bunny Lexus RC-F:
This has been the year of the wide bodies for sure and the famed tuner shop Rocket Bunny extended their reach to the luxury performance platforms with their new Lexus RC-F Rocket Bunny wide-body kit.
This new kit definitely screams luxury track performance and we can’t wait to get more photos of it!

Liberty Walk Porsche 997
Next on the docket we cannot wait to get more news and coverage of this new Liberty Walk 911 997 wide body kit!

This beautiful kit not only enhances the look of the car, but also widens the track for maximum surface area contact to the road. Nakai-San better look out. This is one wide body Porsche that might give RWB a run for it's money.

This is one of our most favorite and eagerly anticipated builds we are looking forward to seeing. More on this car as we attend SEMA...

More to come soon!

Best,
Bulletproof Automotive Team
