Had a black widow infestation in my house.
Thankfully, it's burned to the ground.

I suggest you do the same. Fuck spiders.

if you're not afraid of spiders....find every spider dangling/crawling in your car and create a spider gun for your car! If a fellow road rager decides to charge up to your car. You shoot him with the black widows!!! MUHAHAHA

This reminds me of a funny story.
We found a very large wolf spider in the CLEANROOM at work (it stuck out like a sore thumb). Must have come in with a shipping container from AZ or CA.

I caught it by putting a large plastic beaker (~8 inches tall) over it and sliding a sheet of cardboard under it.
Then I put a rubber glove over the top of the beaker.

If you pissed it off, IT COULD JUMP HARD ENOUGH TO BOUNCE OFF THE RUBBER GLOVE.
So this thing was capable of jumping a couple of feet! (Had I known this fact, I would have never approached it with the intention of catching it).

So after it was captured in this beaker with rubber glove, my coworkers watched me put it in a bag and use a bag sealer on it.
Then I put the bagged beaker in a box and taped the box shut.

They asked me why I was doing that.
I said " because I am going to put it in the trunk of my car to take home to show my kids before I release it"
They said "why all the extra packaging??"
I said "Because if it escapes on the drive home, I will have to sell my car"

I made it home without the bugger escaping and scared the hell out of my kids.
We live in CO where there ARE no spiders that big, so it was quite exciting.

This reminds me of another story.
My son has a 5 foot long Python.
I get it live rats on the way home from work and throw the live rat on the pass seat stapled in a paper bag.
Once on the way home (2 lane highway speed 55) traffic suddenly started coming to an emergency stop.
I was watching the female in the car in front (one lane right of me) trying to complete the Emerg. Stop but could not stop glancing down at her phone while coming to a stop.
I stopped right next to her and her drvs window was down.

I rolled my window down and said "Put the phone down and drive the car!".
She started yelling at ME, giving me the finger and going off.

I looked down: Live rat in my passenger seat, her window is rolled down less than 2 feet from mine.

She has no idea how close she came to having a live rat thrown through her driver's side window.
The only thing that stopped me was I was imagining making it onto the radio show "White Trash News Flash" on my local station.
"And in other news - there was a massive traffic jam today due to a man throwing a live animal through a lady's car window...."

My suggestion on how to deal with this problem. Nothing will survive through the mud and dust..

This is a solid recommendation. As soon as we get some mud around here!
