2 issues with DD conversion.

I second that!

There is couple of issues I have with this conversion:
First: Delay/lag when using turn signal. It feels like it is "thinking" for a second before actually start blinking. OEM blinking is starting with light ON, then OFF, then ON. DD upgrade starts blinking on the second ON compare with OEM. So, the lag is first cycle of blinking. That is might be issue with CF18 blinker, I do not know.
Second issue – more annoying: When turn signal is ON the blinking rotates between front lights and rear lights. They are not blinking together! When rear blink is ON front is OFF and vice versa.
I will try to make a video and posted later today or tomorrow.

I may know the answer to that. As i am testing mine. I believe, correct me if im wrong, if you have stock turn bulbs up front that might be causing the delay. I know thats how my is acting.

I have aftermarket LED turn lights in front and stock in the rear and before DD conversion they worked together without hyperblinking.

Is this a known problem?
Hmm, that is not normal at all. What do you mean by "delay" exactly? It wouldn't have anything to do with the tail as turn modules. There is an issue with the flasher- that is what controls blinking function and speed. Are you using our flasher module? Please feel free to email or PM if it is easier to discuss, thanks!

Any delay in the turn signal would be the result of the flasher, not the tail as turn mod. Are you using our flasher or a different one? If there's some issue with our flasher, we'll be glad to replace it. The flasher is what controls all blinking function and speed.

Regarding the alternating flashing, that is a very simple explanation, and it is necessary for safety, actually. Here's how it works: If you have brake lights on and hit your turn signals, the light will be already illuminated from the brake light, so the turn signal flashes by switching the light OFF first. You don't want to wait for a blinking cycle (about a second) for the light to "catch up" to the next on/off cycle. We did it this way because this is how OEM vehicles work as well, again, for safety reasons. You need to indicate your turn signal immediately, not a second after you hit it.

It's actually pretty hard to even notice unless you're purposely looking for it, no one sees the front and back of your vehicle at the same time.

Front and back blink together normally, this only happens when you hit the brake and turn at the same time. To be honest, the guys here actually thought it was pretty cool.

Thanks!

Was going to place an order but it looks like you're out of the flashers. Any idea when these will be available again?

We're out of just about everything thanks to you guys! Totally cleared out of backup bulbs too.

We're expecting a big shipment towards the end of this coming week. Thanks!

Any reason as to why the XP80's are no longer on your site?
If you're getting something better/brighter let me know so I can cancel my backorder.

Because they are out of stock. With 510 measured, actual lumens, that's the brightest possible bulb that will be on the market for quite some time! Just not visible on the site since it's out.

We are sad too. And just so frustrated we ran out of bulbs. Not the type of customer experience we aim to provide. Big mistake on our part not having enough. But we decided it was best to at least ship the modules out first.
