Need a shop - Rail & Brake Dust Removal (Hamilton)

Welp I've had my FR-S since they launched in 2012, my car is white, Im noticing the beginning of black specs and some of them turning rust color.

Does anyone know a very good reputable shop that can deal with this?

Why not try it yourself? I run a detailing shop and all you need is a clay bar and 4 hours. Simply wash the car, dry it and clay bar it with any clay bar from Canadian tire. Very simple process and can be done for under $40. Take your time and go slowly over each panel. There is lots of videos available online. At the end if your process just apply wax and your good to go for the winter!

Full service would be $100, includes wash, wax, claybar.

Give me a text and we can work something out 289-700-4576

Do you own a older car you can test it on first? As long as you take your time and go really slow you will be fine. If you stop by I could show you a test panel on my car and even let you try it out. Its really simple

It's a very simple process, but try it on an inconspicuous area first with a halogen light. Use lots of detail spray. Claying will cause some marring on the paint, but that can be removed later with a light polish.

Don't even use the detailer spray that's included. Just wash the car, give it a quick rinse, and then wash it again, only this time, use the soap as a lubricant for the clay bar. Wipe in one direction with the bar in the soapy mix on the car and do not apply pressure. Continuously fold the bar over so you are using a clean side and work your way around the car until the little specs are gone.

Clay is easy to do. I to used to run a detail shop as well. If washing your car is a 1 out of 10 on the difficulty scale, then this is 1.1.

And for those worried about scratching your car...guess what?! You're going to scratch it driving it! Unless it's in a hermetically sealed room all it's life and never driven, it will get dirt on it and it will scratch. The internet detailers these days have scared people into thinking they have to use heavy chemicals to rinse and soap the car and leaf blowers to dry to avoid scratching. Guess what? Air+dirt makes scratches too! So just deal with the inevitable and wash your car regularly like a normal person. Clay from time to time, and give it a little buff at times outside of that to bring it back to life.
