You are a silly dreamer if you imagine that this car would be produced in Civic numbers worldwide.
What... my intention wasnt to add on heavy and useless trim packages.. my intention was for a trim to come in differently so it obviously looks better than the standard model. When I see an 08+ STI, the first thing that stands out is the wider fenders and 1/4 panel. and whats wrong with a car that looks good? Do you want to drive an ugly car? And this car is INTENDED to be massed produced... thats why its priced so low. Theyre trying to boost Toyota sales.

I don't think so. iirc Tada-san said G'sport is one of the option/idea for ft86c. It's not the actual packet (it might in the future in Japan, but prob not in US). I think what they did was gave one of ft86c to G'sport and let them do what ever they want w it. Just currently G'sport is only one that show the model. Never know other shop might be involve in this project, just haven't shown the design yet.

i thought the point of the G-s concept was to show off what they can do for toyota as they will be doing styling packages for their current/future cars (JDM only afaik)?? thats what i read on here anyway

Considering older people buy more cars especially higher trims I think it's likely. We're expecting a GT at least right? It might have badges and stickers but that's all I'd expect from it.

Hi all, new to forum here

I don't think they will make drastic change, will be pretty much identical.
Look at AE86, look very much identical with AE85..
Some confused people will think Levin = AE85, Trueno = AE86

A think a more valid design comparison would be Vibe vs matrix.... ends up with the same result though, pretty much identical.
