you may want to skip claying the clear film, it may scratch it.

I would wash and wax it.

Alright, thanks for the heads up. It's a new car and the only environment issues I have are dust and small bugs, so I don't think I'll even need to clay anyways.

or should car be stripped of all wax?

I would apply Sonax PNS on to clean paint do not put it on top of wax or you will degrade the durability of the pns.

What products could you recommend for BRZ limited seat care? They are leather and alcantara and would like to keep them in good shape.

sure thing I would say on the alcantara you can use Sonax Upholstery & Alcantara Cleaner and you can protect with Leather Master Nubuck protectant

after washing and claying with a details spray you can go ready to a wax or sealant.

if you are afraid that there is any dust etc I would rinse the car off.

I was going to wash and wax my car this weekend but I couldn't get these a few spots of what are think are pollen or sap off of my car. I was using two bucks, warm water, a microfiber mitt and meguiars gold class car wash. I washed it once at saturday and once on sunday and still couldn't get it off. I didn't want to cover that crap up with wax, so I never waxed. How do I get it off before I wax my car?

It about the size of dot from a regular sharpie and have about 6 of them spread out around my car.

If I've waxed it the last time I've washed it, I just poke at it with a small plastic tool that I have from an iFixit repair kit and that usually gets it off pretty easily. I wouldn't do that on a non waxed surface though.

You could try using clay bar on it - I've done that too.

This is what I do:

1. Get a microfibre cloth
2. Use All Purpose Cleaner and soak the spot.
3. Hold the microfibre cloth to it for like 30 seconds.

It may take 2 or 3 tries, but it works and removes it safely.

Looks like rail dust, you can use Stoner's Tarminator or Auto Finesse Obiltarate, or Auto Finesse Iron Out

You will see this on lighter color cars, you can also try to clay it
