Sorry officer.

Getting it turned into a non-moving violation.
I don't blame you. Canadians have absolutely no etiquette when driving on the highway, I actually enjoy driving in the US as people know to stay in the right lane unless they need to pass.

I have no idea what place you are describing, as this decidedly does not match up with my lifetime of experience in this country

No tickets.

Honestly thanks to all the stanced out luxury sport cars around the city, it's as if cops don't even see my car anymore. If stance is good for one thing, it's keeping unwanted attention away from my car.

Given the affordable nature of this car, there are going to be more younger drivers driving up statistics like this.

On second thought--where is the link to this study, OP? Or at least an article. I'd love to see the statistical breakdown by age.
You already have it:
FRS #3
BRZ# 26 (or something like that)

Since we know that the old farts drive the BRZ, we have our age discrepancy already firgured out.

Most ridiculous ticket: A long time ago, I lived in this tiny Florida town called Howey in the Hills. There were perhaps 200 permanent residents and one cop. Anyway, I was driving home from working at Disney World late one night and just wanted to get home. I was about 1 mile from my apartment when I got pulled over by the Howey cop at 2:30 AM for doing 72 mph in a 55 zone. What made matters worse was that I had not seen a single car on the road, nor did a car pass us during the entire time it took for Mr. Policeman to write the ticket. He knew I lived in Howey, to boot. Ridiculous.

The car in this case was nothing special: it was a Ford Fairmont in this horrible color called "Chamois". A friend referred to it as "that flesh-colored car".

Haha, you guys, I was actually serious. In my (limited) experience, driving to Ohio (twice a year) mind you HunterGreene, traffic's been very well behaved on the interstate. Road trips here in Canada though, nightmare . Just based on my experience

Garage
Had the car for 2 years, only been ticketed once, car had nothing to do with it.

In fact the relatively tepid acceleration of the car probably stopped it from being much higher.

Absolutely !

But at one time culturally, our population had very courteous drivers, british morals and manners, then the immigration policy changed and now majority of Canadians are from elsewhere, and very large numbers are fresh from the 3rd world.

If you have ever driven in Pakistan, Vietnam, etc. you'll know what I mean.
Not a racial issue , just that 3rd world countries have chaotic traffic practices which are brought to us with the immigrants driving habits.

I'm in an ethnic megalopolis, and left lane hogs are now normal everywhere it seems now, but I can get around them.

What drives me crazy is that up in Canuckistan on our expressways we get Walter Pickass in the left lane , Wilma Pickass beside Wally and and Waldo Pickass beside Wilma, - ALL lanes blocked !

Well, the interstates are generally a little better, especially if you get 3 or more lanes. Two lane auxiliary highways or country roads are notorious for the slow Buick in the left lane.

The annoying part, at least in Ohio, is that you can be ticketed for passing on the right on a two-lane highway, but not ticketed for driving slow in the left lane.
