dude that really sucks.

On a positive note, BRZ paint is not great from the factory so getting it repainted might make the paint much better.

If that game of chess involves fingers breaking, maybe.

I could get $0 deductible on that also but I will also be paying about $80 more a month.

Honestly I'd get it done now. You don't want any rust whatsoever. Once it's in there it's a b***h to get out, and spreads like cancer. 500 is nothing to not worry about it setting in.

Damn, this really hurts to see.
But definately get it fixed ASAP! With the scratch being down to the metal, your zinc coating is compromised and it wont be long for rust to start. At the very least, fill in the scratch with a touch-up pen until you can bring it in.

$80 more a month?! holy crap. My insurance on the car is only $92 a month for full coverage/0 vandalism deductible/$100 accident deductible. Sometimes it's good to be over 30

There has been a crazy string of keyings in Jacksonville FL lately. A Hot Lava an Asphalt a Steel and a Whiteout FRS and a WRB BRZ have been keyed within the last 6 months. Maybe it's targeted maybe not??? But it's sad to think that I have to be worried about this nonsense. Faith in humanity is lost. Sorry to hear about your incident OP but try to get it fixed asap. Rust doesn't play.

You should be fine most of the incidents happened south of the stadium. I'd still be wary though. Invest in a dashcam, you can never be too safe.

Oh damn sucks man. I had some dipshit key my Subaru a long time ago, like 2007 when i lived in a ghetto rental complex. Some people are jealous and have no respect.

You know, if i see someone with a Lambo, i don't go and key there car, i drool and appreciate the beauty of such a machine.

Man, even if someone is a ****head i would never take it out on there car because that's like going and hitting someones baby because you don't like them. Not cool.

But look positive and you know Karma, whoever did this probably has a miserable life already and it won't get better for them brother!

I'm jealous, my insurance is ~$140 a month. I was looking to switch but since I submitted this claim already I'll need to stick around for a while.

For the time being I'm gonna fill it with Dr. ColorChip until I move out of that area which is when I graduate in about another semester. I'd hate to fix it and have another incident.

Yes! I was very mad the first day but in the end I'm not gonna let it bother me, sure it's ugly to look at but it's fixable so I'm not going to stress over it. There are better things to worry about.

People suck. Since I got the car, I park in constant fear of this happening.
