From all the colors I've seen I think a dark gray while keeping the black accents and black rims would look the best. It's unique enough to draw attention but in a more subtle way than a bright yellow car screaming "Look at me!".

Also doesn't need to be washed as much as a black car.

I don't know how much matte wraps vary from matte paints (in terms of maintenance) but personally I think a matte grey would look great

I'd get 1.4% interest no matter how many months I finance.
This idea works great until you decide to sell the car after 3 years and suddenly realize you owe 30% more than the car is worth. No matter how you cut it, financing over a longer period is a bad idea.

Which Color Vinyl Wrap on RS 1.0?

I wrapped my previous STi. Just thought I would put in my $0.02 from experience.

1) matte wrap needs to be meticulously maintained to look good. Don't let it stay dirty and get bird poop off as quickly as possible.

2) $2000 May not be enough for a QUALITY wrap job. But that also depends on the kind of vinyl you use. The cheap China stuff might be good but will fade in a year or two. Legit 3M vinyl will cost $1500 alone, excluding labour. Be careful. There is also China 3M and the good stuff (both 3M, but different grades... Many shops use the low grade one just so they can say they use 3M)

3) door handles and curvy surfaces are subject to peeling.

4) a proper job requires disassembly of the car. Removing bumpers, tail lights, door handles, antennas etc is required for a good secure tuck. Don't go to a guy who will not disassemble. They will cut the vinyl right on your car and underneath will be scratches and slices galore.

5) highway driving kills vinyl. It's not as thick as a clear bra. Keep that in mind.

Lastly, if I were in your position, I would get computer-cut clear 3M/Llumar clear paint protectant over your whole car and live with yellow for $2000 and never worry about stone chips, waxing or dirt contaminating your paint.

Good luck!

Yeah, I was just going to post a truck wrapped and the camero popped up. Whoever owns it is sure to have a mullet and tell great stories of their IROC-Z.

Just because you have a longer finance doesn't mean you can't pay off your car quicker if you want to. For me a longer finance is just a Safety net if I'm short on money one month. Otherwise I can pay 1000 a month and finish it in 2 years. Though I can't afford that :p

If I do vinyl it'll have to be 3M. I'm also going look for a place that offers a warranty for their work. If I have to pay more it'll be worth it. I'm also contemplating a new paint job but I think that's out of my budget.

See what? Is there something in this picture besides the house and a set of four tires/wheels?

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I ended up returning the car, I was about to go pick it up but got hit hard with buyer's remorse.

My main issue was that they only had the automatic and even though I've never driven a manual before a majority of people here say that driving this car stick shift is what makes for the experience. Also, now that I look back on it, the deal I got wasn't even good. They sold me the car at invoice and I'm sure I could have gotten a better deal.

As it is I did get a pretty good deal with my new 2014 Scion FR-S Monogram Edition in Whiteout. This one is a stick shift and was the only new one left in the state.

I ended up paying 25,811 for the car, we had agreed on the price before hand and when they tried to add 1700 for Window Tint, Nitro Package, Auto Guard, and a Door Pro Package at the last second but when I got up to walk out they finally gave me the price I wanted. They also gave me 3200 for a 2002 Toyota Corolla in terrible condition with 79,000 miles on it and engine problems.

So I think I got a pretty nice deal, my only grief is it had around 120 miles on it by the time they brought it into the dealership. But I guess that's to be expected with a car that's been in the lot for over a year now.
