All this on a high demand special edition car that could not have sat on the lot more then a week or two?
They didn't try to do any deal on the two cars that must have been sitting there for months?
They didn't offer to find one in your colour choice?
They are willing to take a loss just because they didn't have the colour you wanted?
It is the beginning of the month so the dealer should not be desperate.

Everybody go there and buy a car quick because that dealer won't be around long at this rate!!!!

Something fishy about the whole story I think.
I think you misunderstood what I wrote. They are gonna do a Vinyl Wrap for 2000. If I find a place that can do it cheaper they'll cut me a check for 2000 and let me do it there. Either way the 2000 is coming out of the auto loan. If I decide not to do a wrap I just cash the check and put the money back into my loan.

And also yes, I apologize by tires I meant TRD Rims.

I'm not sure why you're accusing me of lying. What reason would I have to lie to a bunch of strangers I'm asking advice from? I'm new to cars and hoping to join this community where I can learn and instead get attacked on my first post by someone for getting a 1500 dollar discount?

That does make more sense! Didn't accuse you of anything but the way it came across (reading it) it did sound suspicious! Just take a step back and read it as if you just heard it the first time and see what you would think!
You will learn that we see ALOT of posts like that on here where somebody will say something outrageous and then just disappear! They seem to get their jollies out of it, or something. Soooooo we can be a tad unwelcoming when we see such statements. The very fact that you have followed up removes you from that grey area of possible troll (at least in my mind).

I am however still confused over why the dealer would be so eager to slash and burn their profit just to move the car when there is still huge demand for them. If it is indeed a huge finance rate (as Freetime stated)run away like the wind and don't look back!
You must know the old saying "if something sounds too good to be true it probably isn't". If the dealer is on the up and up and isn't trying to screw you somehow then I am incredibly jealous and wish I lived around there to scoop the car at that deal! Don't wait tooooo long or somebody will.

Oh and leave it yellow as flash is better with these cars (says the guy that drives a Safety Cone Orange one)

Oh and if you get it make sure you enter it here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75460

I see where you're coming and I understand completely. I'm gonna drive around in stock for a few days before I make up my mind, though I'm leaning towards flat grey or gunmetal vinyl with black rims.

Also looking at price before sales tax. It cost me 31,752. This also includes bespoke audio upgrade, center arm rest, and maximum legal window tint. I was told this would generally cost me 33,308.

Good deal indeed!
When picking a colour keep in mind these cars are low and small!
Flat grey may be a poor choice if you want anybody to see you and not be dodging trucks all the time!
If you just gotta do it, do something that really stands out from the stock colours (like the teal one above). Could be the difference between "oh there goes another FRS with a body kit" or "LOOK AT THAT"!
Bet the yellow grows on you! Had a yellow Lancer and although wasn't big on it at first (it also was a good deal) I got to really like the colour.

Flat grey would look great on this car. I had the first Supra model (1980) in taupe grey and it was gorgeous. Gunmetal would be nice too...

Meh, one of the main reasons people don't finance cars beyond 5 years is because that's the point where the APR jumps whole percentages. I'd rather finance for 2 extra years and have an extra 150 in my pocket every month then 5 years just to save a couple of hundred dollars max. I'd get 1.4% interest no matter how many months I finance.
