That is a nice flat torque curve @maxjedi it must be nice to drive.
@DeliciousTuning am i reading it right that after he installed the exhaust it ran leaner? Is that a concern?

@maxjedi, is your F-N-G map "stock" as received, or did you need to get it revised or fine-tuned further after install? |

Delicious Flash & GO Tunes for ALL FORCED INDUCTION Applications - Q&A
Peak power is great and all, but driveability is just as important imo. The FNG tune feels like an oem tune when driving around town

Does anyone have a dyno comparison between the AVO Stg1 base map and the Flash-n-Go?
Also looking for reviews/comments from those who have switched from the AVO base map to FNG. Last edited by Fizz; 10-26-2014 at 10:12 PM. |

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is how i've interpreted this tuning. If I bought a SC, say a JR SC, and needed to get tuning for it, this would work with it? Instead of using their tuning software?

Can you give more details about this ? Does it mean variable target boost depending on some sensor inputs ?

I don't have a dyno comparison but I can describe the difference I noticed. The AVO base map is ok, but the car feels like you've tacked a turbo onto it. It kind of jumps a bit around the boost transition. Acceleration could be smoother. The FNG map makes it feel like the car was built with a turbo. There is no noticeable transition into boost. The power just builds. Little throttle actions are a big difference too. I can't speak to the power difference because I installed a boost controller at the same time (why wouldn't you?) but I'm sure the FNG tune is more efficient.

I asked a local ecutek tuner about speed density tunes and he advised against it saying they're great for high hp applications with custom intakes, but the daily driving in traffic will suck. |

Ok stupid question time, but I'd like to know if there are any negative affects on the engine if i used say 93 octane fuel on a 91 map? Apart from lack of power of course...
And will I need to upgrade the map sensor to use FNG tunes? Or will the stock sensor be just fine? |
