That is a nice flat torque curve @maxjedi it must be nice to drive.
@DeliciousTuning am i reading it right that after he installed the exhaust it ran leaner? Is that a concern?

I don't think AFRs should be discussed without real data from a wideband sensor. So I decided to provide some (with Invidia exhaust), from a single WOT run. Looks good to me, it's in the 11s with full boost:

Hmm...isn't ecutek the preferred option when running FI? I've asked jamesm before if he could e-tune with OFT and he said not recommended, as it lacks many necessary features to do it safely. As much as I hate the ecutek model, I'd still be using them when I eventually go ahead with FI.

@maxjedi, is your F-N-G map "stock" as received, or did you need to get it revised or fine-tuned further after install?

Yes, those charts were done on the first file received from Bill, no additional tweaking.

Not a good thread for it but there is an OTS tune for the SBD turbo kit from OFT. The F-N-G tune from Delicious appears to be smoother and make more power than the OTS Ecutek tune SBD provide, which makes more power than the OFT tune again.

Delicious Flash & GO Tunes for ALL FORCED INDUCTION Applications - Q&A

Peak power is great and all, but driveability is just as important imo. The FNG tune feels like an oem tune when driving around town

Does anyone have a dyno comparison between the AVO Stg1 base map and the Flash-n-Go?

Also looking for reviews/comments from those who have switched from the AVO base map to FNG.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is how i've interpreted this tuning. If I bought a SC, say a JR SC, and needed to get tuning for it, this would work with it? Instead of using their tuning software?

Can you give more details about this ? Does it mean variable target boost depending on some sensor inputs ?

I don't have a dyno comparison but I can describe the difference I noticed. The AVO base map is ok, but the car feels like you've tacked a turbo onto it. It kind of jumps a bit around the boost transition. Acceleration could be smoother. The FNG map makes it feel like the car was built with a turbo. There is no noticeable transition into boost. The power just builds. Little throttle actions are a big difference too. I can't speak to the power difference because I installed a boost controller at the same time (why wouldn't you?) but I'm sure the FNG tune is more efficient.

Thanks, yeah I was going to ask about low speed driving with small throttle openings. Which boost controller are you using by the way?

I asked a local ecutek tuner about speed density tunes and he advised against it saying they're great for high hp applications with custom intakes, but the daily driving in traffic will suck.

Ok stupid question time, but I'd like to know if there are any negative affects on the engine if i used say 93 octane fuel on a 91 map? Apart from lack of power of course...

And will I need to upgrade the map sensor to use FNG tunes? Or will the stock sensor be just fine?
