So what are the complete details on your car? Mods, driving conditions, etc. With the way your car is trashing the oil, I'd use something cheaper and cut the intervals in half.

Fuel dilution is way high and the oil was diluted to a 20 grade. Is this an E85 tune? Any racing? Silicon is high. What air filter are you using? At least uoa wear is normal so far.

JDL UEL uncatted, JDL OP, JDL Front pipe (catted and resonated), HKS Legamax sport. Live dyno tune by Topspeed Motorsports on 93 octane. Drive to and from work, very short distance (less than 5 miles). No racing, drive pretty spiritedly often. FA20Club intake, pretty much just piping ran to where the snorkel used to be and a K&N filter attached to the end.

Thanks. Maybe share the uoa with Topspeed to see if they have any comments about the fuel and if anything can be done about it. Or is it intentionally tuned rich for safety? The short trips probably don't help either.

You might have a little residual silicon from break-in, but silicon probably won't come down very much with that K&N filter.

edit: Just noticed TBN is still strong at 5.83, so it still has good acid neutralizing abilities despite being loaded with 4.2% fuel!

I will send them an email about it. I remember the tuner telling me the car was tuned very lean (originally had a tune from that asshat at FA20CLUB). The torque dip is also still there, I'll have to see what they say.

Short trips are brutal on oil (^ less than 5 mile commute). What's your daily drive like?

OP - Another question that I didn't ask is how was the sample was taken? Was the car driven normally to bring the oil up to operating temp (~15 minutes)?

Daily drive is to the base I work on. I live less than 15 minutes away. I don't beat on the car until she has warmed up. Sometimes I start the car 5 minutes prior to my daily commute. I took the sample after the car sat for about 10 minutes. I often take long trips. Average of 5 hours every weekend. Sometimes 6-11 hours when I drive home.

15 miles to work every morning with 1500 feet of elevation gain. Like a mini tail of the dragon every morning. Long dirt driveway and short dirt road into work.

....lucky.......

I have a couple turns that are fun at speed once I get on base, but I have to watch out for MP's. They're real assholes.

Just posted this as information for the community, I'm not trying to sell the stuff so no need for the sarcasm. If you have any real questions I'll help to the best of my ability. Other than that, you can run your car on fucking olive oil for all I care. /rollseyes

Only one I know of. Harry runs the place. He is a great guy and very knowledgable. If you're interested in the oil or have questions call him, he's beyond helpful.
