A couple facts about ebola:

1) It is not now, nor will it become airborne in the foreseeable future. This would require a random mutation the equivalent of me growing feathery wings and being able to fly. The possibility of this is incredibly small, bordering on impossible. You *can* pick it up by being in contact/inhaling the mucus of an infected individual, but again, that is not "airborne" by definition. Science will back me up on this.

2) Ebola is much harder to get than the flu, namely because the flu is airborne. Just being around someone with ebola does not mean you will contract it, although your risk is obviously increased. So, unless you plan on rolling around in other peoples bodily fluids and waste, you will be fine. Take proper precautions in your daily interactions, wash your hands, and use common sense.

All this reminds me of is the AIDS scare back in the 80s and the discovery of "cooties" when I was in kindergarten. All the fear, none of the understanding.

She's already been ravaged by everyone else, so you may be too late.

Ummm. The entire human population of the Earth is ~3 billion.
The chance of any one Human mutating and growing wings is pretty low.

One human can carry more than 3 TRILLION of the Ebola virus.
Multiply that by all of the Humans infected, and I think math is on my side when I say that the chance of Ebola mutating to become airbone is about a million times more likely that you growing wings.

So you are saying that the nurses who BOTH caught Ebola from the patient in Texas were kissing him?
They both caught it THROUGH THE SKIN likely from AIRBORNE particles.

The CDC is now stating that you can catch Ebola by being within 3 feet of someone that is contagious.
If that is not "Airborne" I dont know what is.

That's because if someone sneezes, there's a reasonable chance that people within three feet of them will be contacted by their bodily fluids. That technically is airborne transmission, but I think the CDC is using "airborne" similar to fungus spores that can hang in the air or pollen during allergy season.
