SOLD Perrin 2.5" ceramic coated Front Pipe

Newly coated black ceramic lifetime coating on Perrin 2.5" front pipe with high flow cat.
Why do this? We make all these mods to improve engine HP and torque. Heat soak takes away some of those mods you just paid for. Ceramic coating significantly reduces the heat soak effect in measurable ways-on the dyno and via IR temp testing.

SOLD
These are coated on BOTH the inside and outside for best performance and durability

Definitely interested and I'm local.

Quick question: What effect on th high-flow cat does ceramic coating have? I thought I remember reading somewhere the cats should never be coated? I could be TOTALLY wrong though...

Thanks!

Good question. I asked the same before they coated it. They take care not to coat the cat by masking, so it is not affected by the process.

I will be in Irvine on Sunday and can easily bring the exhaust up.
Lmk.

What's the coating temp they used? The cats get HOT, so I read about making sure it's at a high temp... I'm noob sorry!

I don't know that answer, but I do know they ceramic coated headers and turbos(which get hotter than cats), for longevity and reduced under hood temps.
