Define loud as this very subjective....

Something like a rough db or percentile guesstimate vs totally stock and/or completely catless (with muffler).

Just for reference sake: My PBlks, HKS Catted Headers, Motive OP, Invida (2.3"0D) FP and TRD 2" section/2.25" sections cat-back and Drift-Office tune.

Made: 188.19 HP 4th gear pull on ~93 Oct. as I had a splash of race fuel in there. Oh and the place was 76-80f in the bay.

Now is has: PBlks, HKS Catted Headers, Motive OP, Berk? 2.5" catted FP and Perrin 2.5" cat back. No dyno.

There are way too many factors...The overpipe (material? schedule (thickness)? diameter?), front pipe (material? schedule (thickness)? catted? resonated? diameter?), midpipe (material? schedule (thickness)? resonated? muffled? diameter?), axle-back (material? schedule (thickness)? resonated? muffled? diameter? number of tips? length of pipes to the tips?)...

There'd be no way for them to make a statement and have it mean anything unless it was on an otherwise completely stock vehicle with a particular number of miles on it (given the tendency for muffling material to move over time).

We're getting a handful of the headers in mid/late next week and the remainder the following week. We will be shipping out the header as soon as they are received. All orders will be shipped out no later than the 22nd of October. Our fabricators have been working through the past few weekends to complete all the production headers--it's a very complex race header to produce. Again, we apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience. It will be worth the wait, once you see the production header.

On a side note, we are currently working on an optional OEM-style heat shield for our race header. This heat shield will address any concerns about under hood temps.

Awesome news guys any idea how much the heat shield will be? Also, when it might get released? I might hold off on installing if the heat shield is released closely afterwards.
