since this thread is so horribly off-topic, does anyone know if the trunk can hold a set of golf clubs without putting the seats down? I know there's a good little space in the furthest back point of the trunk behind the wheels that just might squeeze one set of clubs. It would be great to have my clubs always with me during the summer and not have them out in the open to have my windows smashed in for.

I remember Subaru's official Press release Saying it can fit 2 "standard" sized golf bags with the Seats DOWN. With them up i haven't heard anything, sorry.

I would think ONE bag is possible in the position you mentioned..I hope this isn't a deal breaker for you.

Dealer confirmed that our WRB Sport Tech Manual is on the boat headed here. He said they'll probably have financing info next month but possibly mid May.

Anyone hear anything through the grapevine, when they figure to get the financing rates?

Which dealer are you purchasing from? My sales guy said no info, still sticking to the late June delivery date

As for financing rates, I'm hoping they stay competitive with Scion (which is reasonable since the prices ended up being reasonable).

Budd's in Oakville. Generally impressed as hell so far. He was politely offended when I asked him if I'd have to pay a dealer premium. Other people at the dealer told me how he did a lot of wheelin and dealin with other dealers to get me my WRB cause all 4 cars of the initial delivery wanted WRB and they made it happen. Now tells me that the car is at sea

I hope you're right about the rates. I don't have much experience following Subaru but I got the sense that their financing rates have never been especially low like some of the higher volume makers like Toyota.

The rates will be exactly the same as scion. Worst case scenario 1% higher for all terms

The security registration fee is an optional item the dealer is trying to sell you. You do not need to accept it. Basically it is window etching that in theory might help recover your car more easily if it's ever stolen. Not worth it in my opinion, or that of many others. YMMV.

I was shopping around for a BRZ earlier in the month, and due to availability chose to go with an FR-S.. but a dealer I spoke to, in Stratford Ontario just sent me the rates 2 days ago for the Subaru..

48 month lease - 5.9%

60 month finance - 4.9%
72 month finance - 4.95%

in case anyone was wondering
