Not sure if I posted on here before but I plastidipped my Enkei's back at the end of July. They still look great and IMO the perfect plastidip colour for an Ultramarine.

I believe 4 coats of black, 4 heavy coats of silver metalizer, 2 of glossifier.

This has been on my car for a few months now. Thinking of going to a gold or bronze color.

Was looking around online and saw this Challenger that got the gold finish I want.

Anyone has any idea how I should start to get this look? Silver base and then go from there? Or white?

From reading the thread he didn't use a base but seemed to have chrome rims to start.

Thoughts?

Tapatalk is giving me trouble uploading. I have a very similar gold color on mine now. I started with the white base pictured above (4 cans of white, 1 can of glossifier), and then did 3 cans of gold metalizer, then one can of pearlizer.

I'll try to get the pics up today.

I can also email them to you.

I did about 6 coats of gold directly on hypersilver Enkei's plus a few glossifier coats and it did NOT look like that at all. So don't do that.
