An exotic weapon bounty would give me something to do, just saying Bungie.

I play this game a lot, like 5 days a week and my only exotic is a helmet I bought from Xur. Granted I've never done the raid so I can accept that none have dropped for me but I feel like I should have at least gotten an exotic bounty by now.

I totally understand. I've only got one exotic bounty, while some of the people I play with have gotten more than 4.

The console is only as good as the user and in my case both would be far superior to me.

So I went with the platform I already had an account with.

Damn, you seem have to horrible luck, @53Driver. I bought the game on Sept. 29, and within a week was lvl 26 (exotic gauntlets from a legendary engram, legendary Queen's armor, and vanguard legendary boots, blue helm). Just started working on a new character. My friends have been stuck at 27. I still have all blue weaponry though, so my dps is a bit low still.

Exteme lack of content, even with their "Event" it was just the same missions with some modifiers and then they added some "Fabulous" rewards. (On a side note, it gets really annoying seeing all these people with welfare legendaries :P Just me being an elitest. Not being serious)

BUT, the raid was actually done really well. The mechanics are challending and although you are not garunteed any kind of loot, its still fun to do.

If I had a static fireteam to run the raid, I'd run the raid everyday. Granted you would not get any loot after the first run, but after running it enough, you would get the mechanics down to a science.

Currently the fastest the raid has been done was ~35 minutes.

I believe Bungie and all their developers only have themselves to blame for this game not meeting expectations. After all, they're the ones who sold out to Activision once they ran out of money. Not sure if Microsoft studios would have been any worse but they should have seen Activision wanting to gut the game and release content in separate patches and expansions which would make them more money. PvP still has a lot of work needing to be done to balance things out. The Iron Banner event set to launch tomorrow doesn't make things any better (armor, weapon, and character stats are not disabled). I wouldn't say that I'm no longer enjoying the game, but it definitely no longer has my undivided attention.

How much time were you putting in per day roughly? I'll admit I started kind of slow in this game. The first couple of weeks owning it I only got about 45 minutes a day. It wasn't until the last couple weeks that I started putting in more time, this weekend I had 4 days off in a row so I put in a lot of time this last 5 days or so. Probably was averaging about 4 hours a day? So my level progression has moved along, but the legendary stuff has been pretty much non-existent for me. I stumbled across the "legendary loot cave" last week, but only spent about 10 minutes there as it felt like cheating. My current weapons and armor is all "rare" stuff though.

And that pretty much sums up my feeling right now. First, I think they should just scrap the whole PvP thing in this game. I think it's horrible, boring and personally I don't understand the point of it in this game. Maybe I'm missing something? Then this weekend I started to feel like I was hitting a wall as I had completed all the current "story" missions/raids/strikes and I was just not getting "legendary" drops of any kind. Heck, I'm having a hard time finding all the gold chests and I have spent a lot of time scouting every little nook and cranny. Retracing your steps over and over and fighting the same bad guys literally seconds later gets old. So I found my interest starting to wane this weekend.

This past weekend I spent entirely too long playing, but was a couple hours a day, to the longest day being 4 hours.

Also, I actually really like the PVP in this game. My friends and I get together and roll like our old Halo team. We have a lot of fun with it. There's still a few things we think should be tweaked about it, but we really enjoy it.
