It is possible that whoever installed them did not adjust them properly before mounting the wheel and calling it a day. Did they do a full lock - to -full lock test? My Goodridge lines are sized correctly for the application.

I ran the Goodridge lines for about 9 months with only 1 track day and 1 autocross day and they failed on me a couple weeks ago. I was driving normally on the street and pressed on the brakes going down hill. The pedal went all the way down like how it feels when you're bleeding the brakes. Not a fun feeling. The front line ruptured where it connects to the suspension. It looked like it was caused by a design flaw. The lines were too short causing too much of a crease at the connection points and ended up rupturing at a stress point. I swapped to the Stoptechs and they fit much better. They were a bit beefier, longer and had no stress points.
I Have the Goodridge SS brake lines also on my BRZ and am scared everytime I jack my car and take off the front wheels because the brake line is so tight and "holds" the suspension from going lower (I should have took a pic). I then rush to pry the disc/lower suspension tab up with a 2x4 to loosen and give room to the SS line. It seems like the line (in its mid section sleeve bracket) takes full "up side" motion when the suspension bottoms down but fails to give it back when you jack the car in the air (wheel goes down and suspension trying to reach full motion down). I definitly need to do someting about this before it ruptures or weakens on my car too...Was Goodridge acknowledging a defect or made their lines longer or more easy flowing in the sleeve/bracket mid section?

Goodridge sent me a new set of lines (well appreciated!) via my Auto part retailer and the problem seems solved. My part guy sold plenty and never had a problem with them he says.

Don't know if there's two different sets out there for sale but my new ones are thicker (the stainless steel mesh is coated) so the lines don't move at the middle bracket level therefore don't shift lentght one side so adjustment stays the same so far. All good. Brake pedal feel is top notch with them.
