The lack of VON's depends on where you are located. SOA doesn't sell to every single dealership.

Northern NJ and NY are controlled by SDC.
VT, NH, ME, MA, RI, CT are controlled by SNE.

I have an order in with SDC as that is what the dealer in NJ uses. I have absolutely nothing in terms of info. I was surprised at the other guy because his location was Queens, NY, which would be under SDC.

Hope that clears some things up.

If the cars are being unloaded in Vancouver, WA today, I'd expect a few people to finally get their VINs this week.

So knowing that the EARLIEST time stated to you was "late April," you think that they're liars because you haven't gotten your car yet? That's very unreasonable and quite naive.

I think everyone needs to step back from the ledge and exercise a little patience. It will come when it comes.

I'm more concerned with the lack of info regarding the build,

I have nothing to assure that the car has even started assembly,

As i pointed out now the dealer is saying he was told not to expect them for weeks,

SOA still says they have no idea about everything,

No sir I am not naive but you may want to take a reading comprehension exam,

I have an order in with Fred Beans Subie in Doylestown, PA. Great dealership. My local dealerships were filled mostly with self absorbed a-hole salesmen who felt like they were doing me a favor taking my money.

Maybe we missed it, but what exactly has SOA lied about?

Your dealer gave you bad info, SOA didn't lie as far as I can tell from what you wrote?

SOA sucks at communication, anyone that has ever dealt with SOA knows that, but that doesn't mean that they are lying.

No, my reading comprehension is pretty good. I understood everything you were complaining about, and it seems like you're upset that your car has not been delivered to you by the first day possible ("late April") and also mad about not getting constant updates from Subaru regarding where their cars are from the moment they leave the factory, but somehow that made them "liars" in your eyes.

I understand your frustration, as you're rightfully eager to get into the car that you've reserved and put a down payment on, but don't expect Ferrari-level customer service on your order for a <$30,000 Subaru when the model itself hasn't even hit dealerships quite yet. They'll call you when it gets there.

The car is limited and allocation is scarce. The car will eventually get here when they get here. I gave up trying to track the car. Just wait it out and it will be all the sweeter when it gets here.
Yea, I am in NY and my dealer is telling me they don't even know the price. lolz

That's delightfully refreshing.

First guy I talked to about the car didn't really know anything sadly.

And sadly he knew more than I thought he did at the time. He told me the BRZ was only going to have 4 colours. He was wrong about some of them but he was right about them only having 4... in Canada.

I pre-ordered yesterday from the #3 largest Subie dealership of New England in Hartford, CT. They are getting 36 BRZ.

I was concerned I didn't get a VON and printout of what color, trim, and transmission.

Should I be worried?

Did anyone get theirs at time of pre-order?

Did anyone get it after their preorder and if so how long did it take/was it from dealer, or SoA?
