MSSP Tires in 225 sized, better brake pads, OFT, E85 and ESC with 1.5 dump and possibility of getting the aux charger. For those who have the AUX charger, is it worth it?
I like mine. You basically never have to think "is it fully charged?"

Couple gears of boost and its back full before you know it.

Rob has also said that it increases the system by about 10amps so you do get a touch more boost.

Does it help with keeping the boost more consistent in high ambient temperatures

The boost is always consistent(as long as fully charged)...its the performance that changes when the temp is very hot because you are compressing hotter air to begin with.

As I understand it the aux shares the load between the main controller so they is less chance that you will hit the thermal...so in a way I guess yes it will help maintain boost.

For those that don't know the thermal doesn't shut the unit off just limits the boost(compressor speed)

I pre order a NST pulley kit about a month back and i remember reading some forums that light weight crank pulley isnt good for boosted car and the esc is considered as boost to me just low boost and on demand type of boost.
So I'm wondering what all you guys think?
Sorry if this going be alittle off topic
I always had a pulley kit for all my cars for 30k+miles without any issues so i already set on installing it but not sure how its going to work with the esc just want to get so thoughts on it?

Why do they say you shouldn't use one?

I know he is busy, so he really doesn't need to spend the time to PM me. he will either offer the base kit/price or he won't. As all my mods were designed around the ESC, I will be getting it either way.

Ok, PM replied

Rob can charge what he wants for his product, I have no problem with that. I think $1650 is a good price for the base kit. I just think $200 is/was too expensive for the components in the 1.5 upgrade kit, considering I spent about $45 on my custom 2.0 kit (connectors, battery tray, wires, and tiedown). Even more so now that 3 out of those 5 pieces (in the $200 1.5 kit) are replacements for parts that were included in the price of the base kit. The only completely new parts are the small .5 connector block that sits on top of the two small batteries, and the battery tray.

R&D isn't free. And this is such a low volume product there's not much room to spread the costs around.

IIRC on this car, the weight of the crank pulley & flywheel have a balancing effect. Some people have reported issues (major ones) when changing them both. Since a LWCP by itself doesn't seem to have much overall inertial reduction effects it's basically a waste of $$ that could also cause problems down the road. Nice bling mod though.

I'm pretty sure I saw a post where someone had called SOA and asked about it. They told him it was not acting as a harmonic balancer. It was just a pulley.

Though without any proof of that my word is as good as nuthin'.

As for the install video we are around 18k right now.

Also can you tell Rob to send me the new updated instructions? Maybe I can highlight a few things on the new set with another video.

Hell I'm thinking about doing a proper video that shows no editing or anything for a dyno run.

But all this has to wait at least 10 more days as I am currently in disneyworld!
