@fenton that will be ok just don't want to have buyers remorse jumping on the tq250 and see the tq300 and I half to buy again.

Side question, I want to go head to head with my friend with a mk6 GTI with APR, any idea if the TQ250 will be enough to take that on? It's been hard to find 0-60s and quarter mile times. I think the 0-60 on the APR GTI mk6 would be around 5.8 or 5.9.

I think that would be a very close race. Let us know how it goes.

Knowing how I kept with Neal with his kit... I think you could do it. Depends on your ability and launch.

I've... eh hmmm... had to pass one of these, you know, for safety, and walked it past it EASILY. Well easily enough to make an 5 car length gap to change lanes.

Not going to be a problem. Those make about 210 or a bit more whp but it falls off quite a bit at redline.

With shivs latest tune and 1.5 dump we pretty much hold 215 to redline

What im running now is enough to keep up with stage 1 mk7 golf r, mustang GT 5.0(to 130km/hr) or a Jag XF 3.0 Supercharged sedan(340hp)....ask me how i know...The Jag would pull a bit but we were on the highway already going x speed before we started the "pull"... i think thats pretty good

Yes
But look at the torque numbers. That's what really makes a difference 0-60.

I just had what I think is a great idea.

Everyone knows what it's like driving this car without the ESC. As long as you keep the RPMs between 5000 and 7500 the car feels pretty lively. But if you step on the gas it takes forever to get into the power zone. But once you're there everything is good.
Bring in the ESC and it fills that low end torque problem and you are quickly into the power zone.
But once in the power zone the ESC doesn't really contribute that much anymore because the boost tapers off but you're still using valuable battery current with less effect.
Maybe it would be a good idea to set a RPM limit that shuts off the ESC when it becomes less efficient. That way the batteries will be charging and ready for the next gearshift.

I don't know. Just a thought.

Yeah, and act as a restriction instead, sounds good.

In any case, who wants to take my spot on the list? I've decided to focus on my bnr32 instead for now.
