Honestly I don't know anything about skylines and supras besides that people to give them 1000 hp. But my experience is limited, I don't go to car meets or shows and only been to a few HPDE where I haven't seen any.

So I voted option 3

Option 3 represent. That's how I get most of my "knowledge."

I would not throw an R32 or a Supra out of bed, but I would also not spend my own money on either. Well, if it were a screaming deal, sure. That was a pretty sucky era for cars, methinks. Right now, we're in a golden age that makes the '60s look like crap. 180 SAE HP is now the mainstream family car standard, and 260HP V6s abound. 300HP is easy in entry-level luxury makes, and 700hp is 80k away in a Dodge. OMFG.

And I did play GT1. It was the only one I played. I used the Skyline and 3000GT before I made a 500HP Caterham that was completely undrivable. All I ever did in that game was bounce of walls.

What got me into cars was actually Initial D.

Also I currently own a MKIV so I do enjoy the car. I drove a 4dr GT-S32 in Hong Kong once a long time ago, but I'm sure it's nothing compared to the actual R32.

I knew about the Supra before GT, but GT introduced me to the Skyline GT-R. Funny thing though is I always picked the NSX instead of either of those. Always loved that thing.

Where's the option for "they look like alright cars, but not really worthy of all of the hype"? All of these poll options assume that I love those cars...

Both overrated. The MKIV Supra was a complete snore when it came to North America. Toyota killed it because no one was buying them. Why was no one buying them? Because other cars would stomp all over it, for the same money.

What do a 900hp Supra and a 1200hp Supra have in common?

They both run 12's.

- told to me by a Supra owner.

Gran Turismo? I fell in love with the Supra driving it on the the original Need for Speed! That's how I discovered the RX-7 as well.
