subiefest 2014 was an improvement over subiefest 2013, things were slightly more organized and there was a ton more places with shade and tables to sit down and eat while watching autocross across the way as well as a slip and slide for kids. They still took a long time to just judge cars, I'm not sure what the issue was.

Adding on, it was kinda stupid how they had a back lot, but WOULDN'T let ANYONE leave until 6, Whats the point of paying just to be forced to stay?
Not to mention they were completely unorganized, had no idea where to send cars once they checked in, they kept telling me to turn RIGHT into the GA parking when i told them over 3 times that i was part of the bigger SD group and was parking with them.

When they finally did open the gates for people to leave, they were completely rude about it too, yelling and screaming at us at which way to go.

I was so pissed about how they were trying to forced everyone to stay on the lot until 6. Dude..... "I have to leave for work" and they said "there is no way you can leave this parking lot!...there is no way..., get someone to pick you up if you wanna leave" I was like wtf.
They didn't even say sh** that you can not leave before 6 in a paper. This is all BS

THIS IS MY FIRST AND LAST 86FEST...

HORRIBLE!

Here's the damn gate that they won't open...... dude... seriously, just unlock this damn door and that's it.

I was parked with the nice guys from SD86 and after 3 hours of walking around and not really seeing any big discounts of special prices for being at the event I decided I had enough heat and went to leave and on my way a security guard was pointing at my car like trying to get a group of them to not let me out......

I told the guy to move the cones I'M LEAVING and he let me out but it felt like I was locked inside this place...

I won't be attending anymore 86Fests.

P.S. I really enjoyed seeing everyone's car and meeting nice people but I'll stick to local club meets only from now on.

I wonder if Turn14 or Motor Mavens ever read the forums or check on consumer reviews of their event. Seems like not much has changed or improved in this event over the last few years.

I still don't understand why they locked you guys in.
Last year, I was able to go in and out as much as I wanted. Makes no sense.

I'm a social outcast so I don't go to things like this. You guys that went and didn't like it- maybe you should re-evaluate your activities. Stay away from web promoted get togethers and stick to things that you know you like.

Obviously somebody likes these things. Let them have their own little fun.

We were running some pretty deep discounts... we sold out on Tomei UEL headers, exhausts, and left with 2 EL headers and 1 joint pipe.
