So has anyone noticed a difference in drivability/smoothness with their tune based on where they filled up ? I almost alllllwaaaays use shell 91, have had the 91 stage 1 tune for about a week now, and ended up filling at a Petro or something, car doesn't feel quite the same...

In Canada the best I can get is Shell 91 lol there's Petri ultra 94 but it's just additives... So I stick with pure and ethanol free when I can find it..

Most of us in Arizona have noticed that fresh gas is more important than the brand of gas. Especially since we can only get up to 91oct or E85 (in love).
I used to be hard core Chevron and Shell - alternating between the two to get the most out of each's additives. But I noticed sluggishness sometimes and then once had to go to a QT (convenience store with 'off-brand' gas) that is always busy. It was the best tank of gas I ever got, and it was 10 cents cheaper - which is why it's always fresh. ![]() So look for the busiest station and fill up from there. I almost guarantee you'll feel the difference. |

I will be purchasing an OFT shortly and not sure if I should be using Shell 91 or Petro 94. Just wondering what others from Toronto area are using with OTF on a stock car. I know Perto 94 has 10 ethanol.

Has anyone experienced their Calibration ID changing?
I've had an OFT since last winter and my car was set as A00D at that time. I took it to the dealer a few days ago (oil change and taillights) and decided to update to V2.061. I looked at the ECU info and it is now B01D...OFT manager still says my CAL ID is A00D and I was able to flash my car with A00D V2.061 with no issues. Should I be worried? Would I be able to revert back to stock with my original file being from A00D? It is a 2013 model. And honesty, I'm not sure whe the change occured; it could've been a few days or it could've been months ago. Thank you!

read OFT TIPS link below the oft keeps a copy of your original rom so you can always flash it back and it will be the original A00C rom but the oft tunes are generally based on the latest compatable rom for your car so the latest tunes compatable with A00C are B01C based tuned roms ie you get a free upgrade as well as the tune The A00C rom you flashed is actually a B01C inside :-) |
