FT86 wiki

I noticed over the last few months that a lot of the same questions get asked again and again on the forums. I also wanted a better answer to give new owners looking for a simple answer that's more than just "search the forums" which often contains outdated or outright incorrect information.

So that said I started putting together an FT86 wiki of all the platform's information on Wikia. It's very sparse still, because I've only just started. I'm going to need a lot of help from the community to add to and format it.

I ask for all of your help, even if it's something as simple as checking my grammar or adding pics and videos (both of which are desperately needed).
I would like to document every piece of technical and DIY information available to us.

Great idea! Would make life much easier for some of us.
The only problem is getting anybody to agree on what the "facts" are.
There is a multi page thread with massive, argumentative, and totally confusing posts on the subject of tire air pressure alone and that should be a pretty straight forward topic.
It gets so bad sometimes that I just either give up and start my own research from scratch or just pick a side and hope I choose the right one.

I will be glad to assist in whatever way I can.

This is an outstanding idea. I just took a look at the page, and it's a great start.

My only suggestion would be to add an FR-S/BRZ drinking game where every time you see any variation on the phrase or idea, "That's normal," you have to take a shot.

In terms of things like tire pressure it IS straightforward and the factory info takes priority over self described "experts" that haven't even owned a car in real life, let alone an 86.

That's the thing though. These forums are 60% bullshit, 20% drama, and 20% valid info, and you have to sort through everything to get the little egg of truth you're looking for.
