There's too many factors in this. Twin screws are good for low/mid range, but die off at the top. Rotrex is linear from low to high, along with centrifugal being slightly lower. You can mess around with different pullies to adjust power delivery.

Turbos, same story. A lot rides on the size of the turbo and most importantly, your tuner.

What matters is where you want the power to be delivered. There's always going to be a compromise somewhere no matter what solution you do. Small turbos spool fast, then die at high rpms. Large ones have lag, but major top end. Granted the lag is a lot less than it used to be, heat is more of an issue than actually tuning a turbo.
